Travelling by car, in a day's travel to the south you can visit the historic
Kilmartin Valley, strewn with monuments and evidence of over 5000 years of history. Or you can travel north to Fort William and climb Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom. To the east you can travel by boat to Kilchurn Castle on Loch Awe or visit St Conan's Kirk, a unique church displaying all of Scotland's architectural styles in a single building.
